Stupa Sports Analytics was founded in response to the lack of efficient data extraction technology in sports, particularly for athlete performance enhancement. The founders also identified a gap in the market for engaging, informative data for fans during broadcasts, which led to the development of their advanced AI technology. 

Co-founded by Megha Ghambir and Deepak Malik, Stupa bridges the gap between technology and sports. Megha, with over a decade of experience in tech consulting and business leadership, provides a strong foundation in the sports tech arena. Deepak, a former national coach and player for the Indian table tennis team, contributes a unique mix of strategic coaching insights and practical experience, enriching Stupa’s leadership and direction.

Currently the company is focusing on developing AI-driven solutions specifically for racket sports. Alongside this, they are also expanding their technological prowess to create SaaS-based solutions for multiple sports. This approach includes establishing a centralized data management system, which is pivotal in organizing and managing sports tournaments effectively. Additionally, Stupa is enhancing the sports viewing experience through the development of live streaming and Over-The-Top (OTT) solutions, aiming to bring a new level of engagement and accessibility to sports fans worldwide.

Stupa's strategic approach involves capturing the B2C market through its innovative B2B SaaS products, leveraging avenues like live streaming, content sub-licensing, memberships, and automated media highlights. The current revenue model includes monthly user license fees for memberships on the event management platform, transaction fees for registrations per event, monthly subscriptions, and revenue-sharing opportunities through advertising and media data.

With a first-mover advantage, Stupa positions itself as a pioneer, offering an all-encompassing B2B SaaS platform. This platform efficiently manages and streams events, integrates AI-generated video highlights and OTT for audience engagement. Stupa's strategy combines innovation and market capture for a comprehensive presence in both B2C and B2B domains. Stupa's vision extends beyond the confines of table tennis, reaching out to other racket sports such as badminton, Padel, pickleball, and squash. By leveraging the success and expertise gained in table tennis, the company covers more than 600 federations across various racket sports and has reached uncountable fans. The untapped potential in this domain positions Stupa as a game-changer.

Currently, Stupa is strategically focused on two primary goals: expanding its presence in existing markets within the table tennis sector and exploring new opportunities in various racket sports like badminton and padel. This expansion plan includes entering geographies where these sports have a strong following, thereby unlocking untapped market potential.

Stupa's global footprint is solidified through strategic partnerships. The company has become the official partner for European Table Tennis Union and has also tied up as the exclusive software partner for various federations like Spain, Sweden, and Norway among others), and extended its reach to Serbia through a partnership with See Live Sports for its OTT platform. In the Indian sports sector, Stupa has strengthened its foothold with a significant partnership with SFA as the Technical Operations Partner for Racquet Sports, showcasing its ability to deliver end-to-end, high-quality sports technology services.
